DYLAN & COURTNEY // An Intimate Winter Wedding in the Hudson Valley
When I first met Dylan and Courtney about two years ago, they had been fairly newly dating- just a few months in. They canoodled, they snuggled, they looked at each other longingly - you could tell even in that moment that they were totally head over heels in love.
I never knew that a bit of time later, I would be the one to capture their love for each other at their intimate, winter wedding in Poughkeepsie, NY. First off, I LOVE winter weddings- it isn't very often that photographers get to shoot weddings with a wintery backdrop and I was so, so excited to be kickstarting my 2017 year as a full time wedding photographer with a wedding in the Hudson Valley.
The smaller sized bridal party (not often seen these days) and warm indoors starkly contrasting the cold outside made for one of the coziest wedding I've ever shot.
From the vows to the first dance, from friends to family, the love going around was encompassing. So so happy I had the privilege of shooting this snowy wedding for the now happily ever after newlyweds.
Venue: Locust Grove Estate
