F.A.Q.

Q: WHEN DID YOU FIRST GET INTO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?

Although I was a practicer of the arts all of my life, my love for photography bloomed in my late teens. A few years later, I began  assisting wedding photographers as the second shooter. The rest is history!

Q: WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF WEDDING TO SHOOT?

This is a good question. I LOVE shooting intimate weddings in wooded or mountainous locations- whether that be in the northeast, midwest or northwest. I have a thing for nature wedding photography. I love love love it when couples respect and set out time to create beautiful photographs. I also really love when couples have a great eye for rustic details and have an understanding of natural light's vital role in beautiful wedding photographs.

Q: DO YOU HAVE BUSINESS INSURANCE?

Yup, wouldn’t leave home without it! :)

Q: ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR TRAVEL?

Of course! Traveling has always been a big love of mine, so to pair it up with another great joy- photography- is the ultimate experience. Whether it be a destination wedding or simply an out of state wedding, I am excited to be offering a 15% credit towards the collection of your choice for weddings located outside of the northeastern USA! This means weddings outside of NJ, NY, PA, DE, MD and CT.

Q: ABOUT HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU DO A YEAR?

That varies from year to year, but I make sure to take only as many as allows me to give special attention to each one. I am selective about my clientele and think it is extremely important to connect with my clients. I want to make sure my clients feel comfortable with ME, as well as make sure we are on the same page style wise.

Q: WHAT IS THE AVERAGE COST FOR A WEDDING COLLECTION?

I offer wedding collections at different price points, but most of my couples spend about $3,400.00 on their collection. Get in touch to discuss your options!

Q: WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY SESSIONS?

For engagement sessions, it really depends on when you book your photographer, but I recommend no later than three months before the wedding date- six months before is the sweet spot (weather permitting).

For bridal sessions, again this is determined by when you get your dress. Two to three weeks before the wedding during the week is your best bet.

For weddings, booking about a year to 10 months ahead seems to be the best option regarding availability. This also depends on the month- if it is a popular wedding month like June or October, the earlier you book, the better your chances.

Q: DO YOU ALWAYS USE THE SAME SECOND SHOOTER?

My second shooters vary between two or three people, but I always choose people who’s work I admire and find are complimentary to my own style.

Q: WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?

My equipment of choice is constantly evolving, but right now I use two camera bodies for every wedding- my two Canon 5d Mark IIIs. These are always accompanied by two flashes (Canon Speedlite 580 EX II and Canon Speedlite 430 EX II) and a variety of lenses- my favorites being the Canon 50 mm f/1.2 L, Canon 135mm f/2 L and Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L.

Q: DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

I break up payments into three easy installments. If you need to alter your payment schedule, I am flexible and will work with you- however, all payments are due no later than your wedding date.

Q: how MUCH do i need to put down to book?

A non- refundable 30% of the total collection cost is required as a retainer to secure your wedding date.
